If you would like to earn money and haven't pre-ordered to receive 100,000 VC off the bat, earning it can feel like a grind -- but you'll find myriad ways to achieve that. Playing in MyCareer and The Neighborhood will be the most effective way of scoring VC, particularly if you win and execute nicely. Asking questions properly during episodes of MT 2K21, using your Daily Spin at Jeff's Arcade, earning endorsements, and finishing shooting struggles at MyCourt also see it. Persistence is the major means to bag VC without needing to spend real dosh.
I'm GamesRadar+'s sports editor, obsessed with NFL, WWE, MLB -- and very sometimes things that don't have a three-letter acronym. I've got two children who aren't really old enough to perform Madden yet. Soon, thoug...
NBA 2K21 is officially available now, but I just got my entire review copy yesterday morning, so this review in advance will spill over into next week (after the Labor Day weekend). But I managed to put in a decent number of hours and at that time NBA 2K21 has made it crystal clear that it has claimed the franchise's record of stellar on-court gameplay. Most of the upgrades are comparatively modest, such as loose rebounds feeling and looking a lot more realistic, however they help add to an already strong base. The very best portion of NBA 2K21 so much is that the control tweaks, such as the new goal meter, make for an all-new learning curve. Unfortunately, upgrades to the surrounding game modes seem pretty barebones.
The aim-meter mechanic is actually hard to master, but has already led to some quite satisfying one-on-one isolation victories. It's nice having the ability to use the ideal stick exclusively as a sculpting tool until I am ready to pull back to get a shot. The ability to size-up, which is tied to unique dribbling animations for many of the top players in the league, and isolate is much far better than ever. I spent a couple of hours experimenting with different playstyles, like facilitating the pick-and-roll using Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis. It is tremendously rewarding to use Doncic's size and footwork to make space - something I couldn't replicate with other guards around the group, such as Seth Curry. While it is not completely new, NBA 2K21's ability to emulate players' playstyles is exceptional this season.
Nevertheless, there are a few frustrating gameplay problems I have come across, too. Fastbreaks seem slightly enhanced, but player spacing continues to be noticeably off. For example, even my finest three-point shooters will monitor inside the three-point line on fast breaks when they'd be better off locating space in the corner. Generally, it feels like NBA 2K21 hasn't fully adapted to the accent modern NBA basketball has put onĀ Cheap NBA 2K21 MT Coins the three-point line. Quick catch-and-shoots are not as common as they should be, and closing out remains far too easy on defense.
